Pop Up Book Shop taking place in the Studio on Thursday 12th October

Dear Parent / Guardian,

We are very excited to be partnering with Pop-Up Bookshop and the Great Big Read initiative again to fundraise for new books to benefit all children at Queen’s Park Infant Academy.

Over the last 3 years, we have raised a phenomenal £3,782.85 extra books through our reading challenges and book fairs!
We are now settling into the autumn term and enjoying sharing everything we love about books and reading for pleasure with the children!

On Harry Potter Day next week, families have the opportunity to build their home library and contribute to school book fundraising by visiting a school book fair:

Thursday 12th October, The Studio, 3.00pm – 5.30pm

  • A wide selection of new books including fiction, non-fiction and activity books to browse
  • £1 from every book sold benefits QPIA with extra books!
  • Books from all major children’s publishers
  • Cash and card payments available
  • A small selection of pre-loved books for a suggested donation of £2 per book
  • By partnering with Pop-Up Bookshop, we also receive a share of their Community Book Fund - extra free books for school!

You can contribute to school fundraising 365 days per year by purchasing your children’s books directly from Pop-Up Bookshop!

  • Our school receives an extra £1 in free books for EVERY book you buy! To browse and shop visit:
  • Choose from over 1,700 children’s books online - all books contribute to fundraising!
  • Pop-Up Bookshop can order ANY children’s book just for you! For specific book requests, please contact Vanessa: or 07932 325193.
  • To allocate funds to QPIA simply select our school from the dropdown in checkout.
  • Pop-Up Bookshop offers FREE delivery to all homes in the BCP area

Thank you for supporting QPIA to help promote reading for pleasure and in our book fundraising efforts!
