Bee Happy After School Club

We offer a secure, fun and caring after school childcare environment exclusively for children who attend Queen's Park Infant Academy.

Opening Times

The club is open from the end of the school day until 5.30pm Term time only.

Please note:

If you are delayed due to unforeseen circumstances you need to let Bee Happy staff know by contacting 07999714100

Rules around late collection

If you arrive after 5.35pm on more than 2 occasions, you will no longer be able to have a credit for cancelling a future session during the current term.

If late collection persists, we have the right to withdraw after school care for your child/children.

  • Children are collected from their classrooms and brought to the club by Bee Happy After School Assistants.
  • If the children attend a sports/dance club on a day they are also booked into Bee Happy, it is important to advise Pauline. Children will be brought to Bee Happy after the club has finished.

How to register for Bee Happy from September 2024

For new reception children and for all new enquiries, in the first instance, please send an email with your child's name and class. I will then send out a welcome letter including details of how to book sessions for the new term. Reception children can only be booked in from their first full school day on 16th September.

Facilities

We have a large room at the east end of the school where we have access to an outdoor area, the nursery garden and toilets.

We offer a range of board games, card games and puzzles for the children to use.

There is a role play area with a shop, kitchen and equipment.

Dolls and prams

Cars, garages and track

Lego and construction toys

Arts and crafts including painting and colouring

Dressing up

For outside play we have use of the nursery garden where children can play various games including football, hide and seek or just enjoy being outside with their friends. If the grass is wet, we can also use the playground directly outside Bee Happy.

We provide a snack, typically bread or crackers with butter and either jam, lemon curd, honey or marmite and a drink of water or fruit squash. Fruit is also available
