Welcome to
Queen’s Park Infant Academy PFA
What is the PFA?
We are a registered charity who raise money to buy resources for the school, in agreement with the Head Teacher, to enhance the curriculum and your child’s learning experiences. We enjoy organising fund raising events and try to have fun doing it!
Who is in the PFA?
We are parents who care a great deal about our children’s education and making their time at QPIA a happy and fulfilling one. The committee comprises a Chairperson, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. There is also a staff representative in addition to the Head Teacher. We also have at least two parent representatives from each year group.
What is involved?
You can be as involved as you want in the PFA. You may want to be an active member and attend all committee meetings or you may prefer to help us on the lead up to, or at, fund raising events. We have a meeting every 4-6 weeks on Thursday evenings at the school and more regularly before key fundraising events.
How do we raise money?
Throughout the year we organise a variety of fundraising events.
We also do smaller events throughout the year such as cake sales and we welcome any new suggestions for fundraising ideas!
We hope your child enjoys their time at the school and we look forward to welcoming you!
If you are interested in being part of the PFA and helping to raise money for the school then please email us at friendsofqpi@gmail.com
Many thanks!

Mosaic Cake Sale Friday 9 February
What a wonderful event!
Thank you to everyone who made or donated cakes to the Mosaic Cake bake. There was an amazing array of delicious treats! PTA worked very hard collecting all the cakes and selling them after school. It was quite a sight to see the queues snake across the playground as you all waited to buy some sweet treats to take home for the half term holiday. We are delighted to announce that due to everyone’s contributions we were able to raise a fantastic £311.40 for Mosaic!
