Exciting News: Forest School to become

NATURE SCHOOL  September 2025

We are thrilled to announce that from September, our much-loved Forest School will be taking on a fresh new identity as Nature School! This change reflects our growing commitment to outdoor learning and the

natural world, while continuing to build on the strong foundations already in place.

Leading this exciting new chapter will be

Mrs Sherry, who many of you will know as one of our Year 2 teachers. We are delighted that she will be taking on the role of Nature School Teacher, alongside her classroom responsibilities. Her

passion for the outdoors and Scientific approach to learning make her the perfect person to guide our children through this enriching experience.

Nature School will continue to be a vital part of our curriculum in the EYFS and across the school, offering children the chance to explore, discover, and learn in the great outdoors. It will remain closely linked to classroom topics, helping pupils to develop everyday skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience—all while deepening their connection with nature.

We can’t wait to see the adventures that await in Nature School under Mrs Sherry’s guidance. Watch this space for updates, photos, and stories from our outdoor explorers!
