Spring Menu change - Wednesday 20th March 2024

Chartwells are hosting an Themed Day Menu on Wednesday 20^th March. There are a couple of slight changes to the menu that day to reflect this.

Please see below for the Menu, along with the Allergen Report to accompany these changes.  The deadline for ordering for week beginning 18^th March is Midnight on Sunday 3^rd March.

Census Day Menu change - Thursday 18th January 2024

Please find below details of Chartwells Census Day Themed Menu  ‘Pizza the Action’ on Thursday 18^th Jan 2024.

The menu has been set up on the Chartwells website. 

The closing date for online orders is Sunday 31^st December 2023. If you have already booked a meal for the 18th January you will need to log in and choose from the new menu options for that day.

School Meal Update for September 2023

Dear Parents& Carers,                                                                                         

We are delighted to announce that from September 2023 we will be providing hot school meals for the pupils at Queen’s Park Infant Academy and welcome your children to explore our exciting menu which has been specifically designed to cater for young children.

The online guide describes the process on how to register and place your hot meal orders for week commencing 4th September 2023 and beyond please note that you will need to place your order by midnight on Sunday 20^th August 2023. You will be able to access the online system at the end of July 2023 to allow you to place meal orders for the new term.

Children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 are automatically entitled to receive Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM). On average the saving when switching to school meals is approximately £400 per year.

We recommend that you book meals for the whole term to ensure meals have been ordered without having to remember to book them on a weekly basis.  Please note that there are 3 options daily and the menu runs on a 3-week cycle, should your child prefer a different meal after trying what is booked for them, you can easily alter this on our website as long as it is in line with our 14 day cut-off.

We also offer Medical Diet meals covering all 14 EU Allergens.

Important Easter Holidays Lunch ordering deadline

Dear Parents & Carers,

 Chartwells now operate a 2 week in advance order deadline cut off.

This means that the cut- off point for ordering lunches for the week after the Easter Holidays, week beginning 17th April 2023 is:

Sunday 2nd April at midnight. 

Chartwells are no longer taking additions or amendments by phone after the Sunday cut-off, so if you do miss the deadline please send your child into school with a packed lunch from home until the next date that you can order lunches from.
