We have a lovely update from Mrs Hopper, who along with Mrs Karkera, looks after our wild garden and allotment areas; QPIA has been awarded the level 4 from the RHS in school gardening. We will receive a certificate, £100 National Garden Gift Voucher, The ‘RHS Gardening School’ book, and a selection of Mr Fothergill’s seeds!
We've done lots of exploring and learning this year, we've found out all about what seeds need to germinate, the lifecycles of plants, and what we need to do to encourage wildlife into the garden (Although, we can assure you the swarm of bees was not our doing!), we also took part in a plant and seed swap at a local allotment and I think we've had lots of fun along the way.
We look forward to what next year brings to our wonderful outside spaces.
