Allotment Visit

We had a visit today from Valarie Lee (Dorset Gardens Trust), Pete Staples (Gibbs & Dandy) and Janine Evans & Shamonti Shams (Stone Zone Landscaping). They came to visit our allotment to see what we have done with their donations.

Gibbs & Dandy gifted us 12 sleepers to start our dream of having raised beds and Stone Zone and Landscaping Supplies donated 3 tonnes of soil! You may remember that The Dorset Garden's Trust gave us a grant at the end of last year, which enabled us to buy polytunnels, compost, children's gardening gloves, garden canes, seed trays and lots more. Ms Lee continues to support us with regular advice, offers of plants and useful gardening books.

The allotment is a result of hard work and support from our whole community as well as the children here in school.

Many parents have supported this project by giving veg plants and flowers to go in the allotment and throughout the school grounds. We would love to say a huge thank you to all those that have helped make the allotment the beautiful space it is today.
