We are delighted to announce our eight Eco leaders for this academic year.
Bobby (Badgers), Joseph (Foxes), Georgia (Hedgehogs), Acer (Otters), Elsie (Butterflies), Alpha (Bumblebees), Manha (Grasshoppers) and Harrison (Dragonflies).
Please do not be disheartened if you were not chosen to be an Eco leader, as there will still be lots of opportunities for you to help our school and our local environment this year. - Mr Waller
"Thank you to the 84 children across years 1 and 2 who applied to be an Eco leader. Mrs Edwards and Mr Waller will be shortlisting over the forthcoming week, with the lucky candidates revealed next Friday during our Superstar assemblies. – Mr Waller”
Dear Parent / Guardian,
We are very excited to be partnering with Pop-Up Bookshop and the Great Big Read initiative again to fundraise for new books to benefit all children at Queen’s Park Infant Academy.
Over the last 3 years, we have raised a phenomenal £3,782.85 extra books through our reading challenges and book fairs!
We are now settling into the autumn term and enjoying sharing everything we love about books and reading for pleasure with the children!
SCHOOL BOOK FAIR
On Harry Potter Day next week, families have the opportunity to build their home library and contribute to school book fundraising by visiting a school book fair:
Thursday 12th October, The Studio, 3.00pm – 5.30pm
VIRTUAL BOOK FAIR
You can contribute to school fundraising 365 days per year by purchasing your children’s books directly from Pop-Up Bookshop!
Thank you for supporting QPIA to help promote reading for pleasure and in our book fundraising efforts!
