Book Swap

Book Swap

A perfect opportunity for children to trade in books they have already read
for some new books that interest them.

How it Works:

From Monday 20th February to Monday 27th February children may bring in used books that are in good, clean condition that they no longer want.  For every two books they bring in, they will earn one ticket to be able to swap for a new book at our book swap.  (No more than ten book donations per child please). Donated books are to be handed in to classroom teachers please.

Book Criteria:

Please make choices carefully before bringing in books.

Books will only be accepted under the following guidelines:

  • Books must be in gently used condition E.g. covers intact, no tears, bent edges, or stains, no colouring or writing in them, no pages missing.
  • Colouring books, board books, activity/sticker books will not be accepted
  • Books from kid’s meals will not be accepted E.g. McDonalds

The book swap will take place in the school hall on World Book Day, Thursday 2nd March during the school day.

At the end of the school day we will be selling any remaining books, so please do come in for a browse. Any monies made will go towards buying additional books for our QPIA Reading Spine.
