If a pupil arrives at school after the register has closed, they will be recorded as late (L). This is not an unauthorised absence and the pupil is counted as present for the morning session. Lateness 30 minutes or more after the register has closed will be counted as an unauthorised absence unless the parent / carer provides the school with an acceptable reason.
If you know you are running late, please ring the school and let us know you are on your way. This will save us having to contact you when your child is marked absent on the register.
