At Queen's Park Infant Academy our Music curriculum is designed to be fun, varied and broad. Our aim is to foster a love of music in our children, and an appreciation of a range of different styles and genres of music. We teach children to see themselves as musicians, developing their musical vocabulary and their skills of pulse, rhythm, pitch, tempo, dynamics, timbre, texture and structure. 

We offer opportunities for children to engage in a wide range of music and musical influences, from traditional classical composers to more modern musicians. We have a large selection of musical instruments in school, and children are given opportunities to be performers themselves.
