At Queen's Park Infant Academy we teach History in a way that is active and that engages and inspires our children to find out more about how our world has changed, and continues to change. We teach the concept of the passage of time from the perspective of our children and families, comparing people, events and artefacts from a very long time ago with the more recent past and the present time. We try to use resources that the children can see and teach them the vocabulary to be able to describe and compare what they see, hear and learn about.
