Our teaching of Science aims to create inquisitive and creative thinkers, with the skills and knowledge to make discoveries about the world in which we live. We teach a broad science curriculum, with opportunities to learn key knowledge, concepts and vocabulary. We give children opportunities to plan experiments, encouraging them to make predictions based on knowledge or experience. Children carry out and evaluate experiments, learning to explain what their experiment shows.
