As we look back over this very busy and exciting Autumn term we can reflect on the children’s many achievements. One of the best moments for a teacher is when a child takes a step forward in their learning and confidence, and particularly when they recognise and take pride in their own progress themselves. Our Christmas assemblies encapsulated that for so many of the children, with their reading, singing, acting, playing instruments… and all the themed topic work and learning that underpinned the assembly themes. We are sure you were very proud, as we were. We have had many fun moments too, from Crazy Creatures, Autumn walks, Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, Pudsy Bear, Dark Nights and Twinkly lights … to stories of the Lighthouse keeper, Victorian Day and so much more. Phew!
With all this wonderful learning, the children have earned a well-deserved rest, so it only remains to wish you a very happy Christmas and a lovely holiday. We hope you enjoy some photos from our final moments of carols and party fun.
See you in 2018!
