Easter Holiday activies

Hello again to all our QPIA families,

We have added some activities to our website to keep you going over the next couple of weeks. Have a look at our Easter Learning map to get you started and then check out the other documents and activities. Anything that says 'KS1' (Key stage 1) is suitable for Years 1 and 2, but most of these activities can be done together in mixed age ranges and for anyone in the family.  For Mathematics there is an Easter egg challenge to get you thinking and sharing out those eggs, and for Science you can make your own weather chart...let's hope there is lots of sunshine!  You can also have a go at the Water lily experiment ...follow the instructions on the Video section of the children's area of the website! Here's a link to the website where you can find instructions for making the chicks the children made in school on Tuesday 31st March. https://www.easypeasyandfun.com/simple-paper-chick-craft/

Easter is also a great time for lots of creativity in Art and Writing - see our RE activities and ideas for poems and craft activities etc.  Don't forget to keep reading and enjoying stories too - there is a Spring wordsearch, links to online stories and story time videos (coming soon) with different teachers!

Keep smiling and safe and have a happy and healthy Easter.
