Bee Happy After School Club

(3.10PM – 5.30PM MONDAY – FRIDAY)

"My daughter is loving after school club. She said it’s so much fun and you’re all kind and friendly. She’s told me and her dad to stop picking her up too early from after school club because she wants to stay until the end. It’s so good to know she is happy, thank you."

"Thank you for the care, kindness and warmth you've shown both of our children over the past 5 years. You've created a space where our children feel safe, happy and excited to be. As working parents, we simply couldn't have done it without you. Your care and support has allowed us to maintain our careers, knowing our girls were in the best hands. We will always be grateful for the part you've all played in our family journey."

"Thank you for providing a lovely after school experience for my daughter. It has really helped her to gain in confidence."

"Thank you for being kind, nurturing and fun and playing games with our children. It's wonderful to know you're there for our children to enable us to continue working. Bee Happy is a wonderful environment for our children to thrive."

"Thank you all so much for the years of fantastic care that you have provided for both our daughters. We have been so lucky to have you give them a homely space where they have felt safe and enjoyed their time."

Bee Happy After School Club offers a secure, fun and caring after school childcare environment exclusively for children who attend Queen’s Park Infant Academy. (Ofsted registration number 139447)

Children are collected from their classrooms at the end of the school day. Bee Happy closes at 5.30pm.

We offer a range of board games, puzzles and card games for the children to use. We have a role play area with a shop, kitchen and other imaginative play equipment, along with some dressing up clothes.

We have cars and track, garages, dolls and prams, Lego and construction toys, arts and crafts, painting and colouring. Plenty to engage and entertain our children!

We provide a snack, typically bread or crackers with butter and either jam, lemon curd, honey or marmite and a drink of water or squash. Fruit is also available.

During the warmer months we also have access to an outdoor area where children can play games or just enjoy being with their friends.

Be Happy is run by our own school staff, and works within our whole school policies. Miss Pauline Abel is the manager. She is First Aid trained and is our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) on site for Bee Happy.

Bee Happy costs £9 per session, or part thereof. This incudes a snack and a drink.

Bee Happy accepts Childcare Vouchers (EdenRed, Care4, Co-operative Flexible Benefits) and is part of the Government Tax Free Childcare Scheme. Please advise Miss Abel in advance of booking if you intend to use either of these.

If you are interested in your child attending Bee Happy, please contact Miss Pauline Abel by email on

bee.happy@coastalpartnership.co.uk

Please include your child’s name and class. You will then be sent details of how to book sessions.
